The innovative fabrics of the WR.UP® collection

It looks like denim yet is as comfortable as a pair of leggings

Unlike the traditional shuttle-woven denim fabric, which is rigid and only stretches one way, our denim-effect cotton jersey is 100% bi-stretch and allows the pants to stretch in two directions. The result is a soft, light, and comfortable fabric that fits perfectly to the body, without getting creased. It looks like denim yet is as comfortable as a pair of leggings.

Eco-friendly cotton

The cotton of the new WR.UP® garments labeled (RE), is 100% organic from socially sustainable organic farming. The elastomer also comes from recycled materials converted into elastic fiber.

Low-impact polyester

All the new garments labeled (RE) are made of 100% vegan leather and contain low-impact polyester obtained from recycled plastic bottles converted into new fiber. The elastomer also comes from recycled materials converted into elastic fiber.

Breathability and thermoregulation

D.I.W.O.® is a technical fabric patented by Freddy that features a “dry in, wet out” effect and helps wick sweat away from the body, thus keeping the skin more fresh and dry. The D.I.W.O.® fabric of the new WR.UP® garments labeled (RE) is eco-friendly as it comes from plastic bottles converted into new fiber.

Natural and bio-degradable

The fiber of the Tencel^TM fabric has antibacterial properties and is fresh and comfortable on the skin. Obtained from the eucalyptus plant, ecologic, and biodegradable, this fabric is manufactured using very low amounts of water. To create the WR.UP® in Tencel^TM we have used elastomer obtained from recycled materials converted into elastic fiber.

Robust and soft

Drill is an eco-friendly fabric obtained from recycled materials converted into new fiber. It is robust yet soft to the touch. It is also highly breathable and does not irritate the skin.

Classic denim becomes eco-friendly

The shuttle-woven fabric is the classic striped denim, but the one used to create the new WR.UP® garments labeled (RE), is manufactured with eco-friendly yarns such as 100% organic cotton, polyester from recycled plastic converted into new fiber, Ecovero^TM eco-friendly viscose, and Lyocell Tencel^TM. Extremely comfortable to wear, it is stretchier than denim thanks to the new elastane fiber that stretches in 4 directions rather than 2.
